So, now what??

My husband has done every last bit of outprocessing that he can do for the moment. Now we're just waiting for the medical clearance for our daughter to come back from the new base with their stamp of approval and then his orders can be cut. Once those are cut, then he can start the real outprocessing:

-calling to get on the waiting list for a house (he called last week and was told they have a ton of houses, so there likely won't be a wait)

-setting up a time for the movers to pack and for us to move out

-I don't know what else, but I'm sure there are several things

Today is March 28 - that means that in just one more month, my daughter will be 2. Two! How did that happen? I will have a 2-year old. The next birthday will then be 3. OMG. She's growing up so fast. Since we aren't sure what will be going on even a month from now, we're planning an informal get together for her with just some cake and ice cream. No gifts - we don't need more stuff to lug down there with us and with her sensory issues, I'm very picky with the types of toys she has anyway. Not that I wouldn't be grateful for anything, but she can't have toys that light up with music. Her brain can't process them. Anyway, just a little gathering with a few friends will be sufficient I think. It's not like she will remember this birthday anyway.
